Any SW player have a Chaos army?

i have several, but my key one is my Fallen Angel army (in honor of my late son), and my Night Lords, though most of the Night Lords (about...9000 points) is not using their codex. I usually run god aligned armies. my Fallen are Slaanesh with a Nurgle splash, and my night lords are mostly khornate. um...yeah...

Cheers for the response guys, it's interesting to know - I was unsure whether the Space Wolves hatred of Chaos would transfer over to the players or not. I must confess, I got some Chaos models recently - and I did think about keeping them and building a chaos army for a while. I had a bit of an inner struggle that I only avoided by the excuse of having a lack of money with which to start a chaos army. I may come back to them at some point in the future as they have some really, really cool models available.

Thanks again.

I also have a chaos army. I got a world eaters army for a song on eBay right before the new codex came out and converted it to a black legion army. It helps to not punish my friend with my wolves every time we play so I like to have a few options: I also have a nid army, and necrons. However my Wolves are my only good army and they are my fav by far. That is why I use them in every tourny I enter, no question.

I actually jumped around from army to army for the past 10 years, and I found Space Wolves one of the most fun armies to play. I had a chas army from like, 8 years ago, it was my third army after nids, and guard, and crons, so 4th. I still have them and dont use them. If my friends ever want to play I use it. I used a pure nurgle army before they got really really good. I do have a ton of berzerkers just because I thought I'd like going pure khorne, but they're very one sided and quite easy to counter.

I'm sorry to hear about your son Gunnar and Mrs. Gunnar. :D

Now, on a slightly more upbeat note, I have thought about doing a Rocky Horror Picture Show themed Slaanesh army. I dunno if I'll ever get around to it though.

I don't have a Chaos army currently but I'm thinking about World Eaters.

The first 3 Space Wolf Players I met all had Thousand Sons armies as well... go figure. Incidentally all of them were better with the Thousand Sons than with their Space Wolves... :)

I'm sorely tempted to start a Death Guard army, again mostly due to FWs conversion kits. The only thing that stops me from doing it (apart from the price) is the possibility that it would be too tactically similar to my wolves.

Sounds like an odd statement i know but having read the DG tactica on B&C, which i heartily recommend btw, they perform best when mechanized in a short range dakka role and have strong close combat potential, all very similar to Grey Hunters.

Plus theres the risk that playing a chaos legion will be pretty one dimensional when compared with our wealth of options...

I dunno, might just collect a small force anyway and see how it plays

I have been thinking about getting either a daemon army, plague marine, or Tsons mainly for when me and my brother play (he plays nids) together since its kinda hard to justify him playing with my eldar or space wolves. Though i cant decide which would be better he mainly plays a mix nidzilla army

I'm thinking about starting a Thousand Son army. oO

I also have a Night Lords army...but they aren't chaos, they are just misunderstood, and a bit homicidal.

Not Chaos? Oh yes they most certainly are, Konrad Curze was misunderstood but the Night Lord's themselves are murderous genocidal maniacs. Read Lord of Night, really gives some good insight into the Legion and what it's become.

Um, sorry?...was trying to be subtly sarcastic, guess I will be a bit more obvious next time. and I agree that Lord of the Night is a very good book, and had great backstory.

I've been debating making a Night Lords army, they seem pretty sweet.
