I've been a lurker for a while now and this forum has been an invaluable resource as I learn the painting ropes. I'm new to the hobby, the game...im just a flat out newbie. :) These temies are out of the Assault on Black Reach box, and the first terminators I've ever painted. He posed some problems that I hadn't dealt with yet, so it was fun to try and figure out how I was going to handle them. As far as the chest eagles, I did a slight highlight on them, but the picture washed it out a bit. I had been wondering if the highlight was too little to notice and you answered the question. Thanks for pointing that out! Primarch Corax - Yeah, while not my FIRST mini's they are my first termies as mithril pointed out. However, my only experience has been a Rhino, a Pred, one bike marine that I converted to a RW biker, and a Company champion. I should post pics of those........ Wraithwing - Thank you for the high praise, after looking through your gallery, that means quite a lot coming from a fellow DA painter. Mithrilforge - ACK! You said freehand! :P I'd really like to get my hands on some transfers of that particular iconography, however im not sure if and where i could find them. It's been noted that I'll probably have to print them on transfer paper on my own. Thanks again everyone for the warm welcome and great advice!
