hmmm, just noticed, why have I based the assassins on green when the rest are on grey?!?

Well, I thought I had finished but realised there was another dreadnought to be had!

It actually made sense to do this as my original Dread was a rescue from Ebay, pre-assembled with weapons glued in place so my deployment options are limited.

Had an old AoBR dread amongst a bunch of stuff I got of ebay a while back so stripped the paint and used the legs and weapons to go with the few extras I ordered from FW with the main body. Chucked a few bits n bobs in from the bits box too just to make it look a little more 'grey knighty'

Anyhow, finished model gives me a lot more configuration options now so all is well and good!

I was a little bored with the usual Latin names and feeling a little too lazy to run upstairs and browse through the ref books for inspiration, as a result I present Dreadnought 'Terry'!

A little creation of my own using a couple of leftover inferno cannons from the raider kits

'Roast n toast' variant useful for flushing 'em out!

Thought I better update this thread with the latest addition to the GK's, Stormraven reporting for duty SAR!

Little fella is finished...another one ticked off the list!

Quite straightforward this one, couple of days to build, day to paint and a couple more days to make up the costume jewelry such as the DN, troops and base.

The army can be checked out here The Tinfoil Terrors few pics below of current project

Frater, this is a STUNNING army you've got and probably the smartest =I= one I've ever seen. Many contratulations for this very very fine and inspiring work. Personnaly I'd add a massive penal platoon (something like 30 shaven heads) leaded by a priest and an inquisitorial agent / doctrine commissar in order to create a strong contrast with GK Emperor's finest though keeping close with the idea of faith and redemption through fight.

Another one from Scibor here, I figured it would make a nice addition to the Greys, I just added a few GW extras like the seals and laurel on the chest plate. Got the new 'Templar SF knight' on it's way too, great for heroes!

Finally got some paint on these Scibor 'knights'

I don't particularly like these two but figured they would suffice for objective or character figures. My inner nerd came right out when I immediately spotted the backpack on the inquis figure is actually a shell from a Sturmtiger :tu:

Scibor has just released a couple of very nice Grey knightish minis however which I am looking forward to adding to the army, incoming as we speak!

That is a terrific looking Storm Raven, Bulldog. The only thing that bothers me about the Storm Raven (which is a GW design thing, not a modeling issue) is the way it carries the Dreadnought:

It's just weird.

I always thought it'd be clamped into a cargo compartment with a rear door for it to run out of ala-valkyrie. But oh well.

Everything here is brilliant, Bulldog. My only qualm is that I'm not quite sold on so many models made up as firing at once. But that's only minor.

Kudos.

Knocked up a couple more of the Scibor Knights range, figure these will make nice hero figures when the new codex is released...

Interesting use of a King Tiger air filter and road wheel (on the back of the other chap, warning inner geek alert)

Btw, they are magnetized onto those poncy bases so they can be put on standard bases for battle!
