Yeti
Take a look in my gallery. The pics of GHs and BCs have some showing pelts on their shoulder pads. http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.p...m&album=637 This was done by taking a roughly triangular piece of green stuff and sticking it on the shoulder pad. I then took either a modelling knife or the pointed end of the GW sculpting tool and, using short rapid strokes, created a bunch of shallow cuts in the GS. You can do the same with capes, just cover them with GS and use the same method to create fur. Cuts that are shallower and closer together give a finer texture. I was going for bear fur, so I made gave it a coarser look. Painting is dead simple too. Dark base coat and then a couple of quick drybrushes with lighter colors ... voila! Jonny Wolf
Like's been said, use the triangle portion of a hobby knife. For finer hair use a pin or a needle. Piece of advice - use water on the blade/pin when you sculpt. This will stop the steel from sticking to the green stuff.
