lucifer light bearer Posted March 17, 2009 Author Share Posted March 17, 2009 I was thinking about what Brother Tual just said about an uber unit inside. the redeemer can only carry six termies, which while very good I wouldn't call an uber unit. what about honour guard? Brother Tual Posted March 17, 2009 Share Posted March 17, 2009 honour guard are definately strong, add in a chaplain and you have a tough as nails unit.. My uber unit that I am running ATM in tournies is 5 GKT with Khan on foot and a Librarian with might and nullzone... They all fit in the LRR (7 models) and hit incrediably hard.. (its all intiative 5 or better with str 5 or better power weapons and all WS5 or more! they have the ability to kill anything with a WS - yes even soulgrinders... the libby can be str 7 with 2 d6 for armour pen on the charge and has 4 WS5 attacks... ) and its still a decent 12 bolter shots on the way in too (so the same firepower as a crusader) 5 termies and a pair of characters are suprisingly strong.
