Kuchinawa
My serch-fu is weak and this may have just be answered. If I were to get, say a stormlord, could my Inquisitor "barrow" it via the "In the name of God Emperor..." rule? it's for bookkeeping really. In Apoc basicly anything goes, but say for a friendly game could it work? If both sides agree to superheavys. Next question Allies in C:WH says that Allied Space Marine may NOT be used if Adapta Sororitas are part of the force. Ok so no Dev squad with the SoBs I can dig it. Are Grey Knights "Space Marines"? Well I know they are, but can I put them in a WH force with Sisters are used? I saw A guy at my local GW doing this, and I did not know what the parent =][= list was. I assume it was DH with added SoBs. I kinda want to see A Grey Knight Grand Master and a Cannoness team up in a superstar tag team in a game. I think it'll be cool... jeffersonian000
In this context, Grey Knights are not "Space Marines" and can allie with Sisters of Battle. While I can see an Ordo Hereticus inquisitor requisitioning a Stormlord "for the cause", I can not see an Ordo Malleus inquisitor requesting one at all; if he needs more firepower, he would just call for an Exterminus of the world in question. SJ Oh I think its fairly easy to come up with fluff reasons for requesting these and I fully intend to do just that. Any Inquisitor of any Ordo (or not) can order exterminatus, but any Inquisitor stupid enough to deprive the Emperor of one of his worlds when it could have been retained by the use of ground forces wont last long before his Inquisitorial brethren liquidate him for treason. Prathios
This last post is spot on actually. Exterminatus should and usually is the very last option available. If a productive world in the Imperium is reduced to ash it is an irreplaceable loss. A full multi-chapter marine deployment with a full titan legion might be requested before exterminatus is called. Now if in like the case of a Tyrinid invasion where time is key, sure a world may have to die before there was ever really a chance to try and take it back. But in that case it was dead anyway. andrewm9
Lately my friends and I have been talking about doing an Apoc run ourselves. It’s exciting and so I turned my thoughts to Super heavies that are actually affordable or won't take forever to build (like a self done Titan). I myself settled on a Stormlord since I play Witchunters and Sisters primarily at that. I'm planning on make a Sisters tank though that will be crewed by Sisters. So I will add some iconography and the like to make it my own. I settled on this for the bolters and flamethrowers. I just love the Vulcan mega-bolter with its heavy 15, strength 6, AP 3, and 60" range. I guess I have been playing the short range game of 24" with my girls for too long. ^_^ I have some questions for my learned colleagues though. I would like to up the BS of the tank crew to 4 to match that of the Sisters. How much do you think that should raise the price relative to the effectiveness of the tank itself? I figure 25 – 50 points. Should I stick with the Lascannons or should I swap those out for something more fitting of the Sisters. And if so what and how much? Aidoneus
i added 100 points for a stormlord with side av 14 and bs 4 Isn't side 14 an available option? You just drop the side sponsons. That being the case, I don't think you should up the armour to 14 if you're keeping the sponsons; even if you pay points it seems a little beardy to me. As for the BS, I'd add about 50pts. Seems fair. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/162914-superheavys-and-you/#findComment-1917774 Share on other sites

KJB
My plan was to add either a stormlord or a hellhammer to my Daemonhunters force and paint it up in the colour of the Mechanicus, gifted to my GK/Inquisitor for saving some Forgeworld/Arch Magos/artifact/vending machine or whatever Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/162914-superheavys-and-you/#findComment-1918225 Share on other sites
