~laughs~ Thanks for the laughs, I needed that. Really, I did :)

But no ork bits were used here... those be Defiler claws :)

I wasn't to sure about using them when I only had one claw done. But after I got the other one done and figured out I could use the LR Lascannon sponson covers as arm armor it ended up working out quite well... at least imo.

You're welcome :)

Defiler claws? :) Oh now we've seen it all.

"In the current recession, the TechPriests on Mars have ran out of Dreadnought Close Combat hands and have resolved in salvaging Defiler Claws, even while they're still in use and trying to kill them" :P

Onto seriousness, keep going with this. Maybe reposition the claws so they don't look like the dread is gonna drag them across the ground ;)

@Spacefrisian

If I was playing Space Sharks I might very well have to do that. But it will be getting legs.

@The Emperor's Champion

Took me a moment to get the reference. I'd been contemplating using this idea for a Chaos dreadnought, but since I sold my Chaos army and still did want to make an Ironclad, it worked out.

@Wolf Lord Mjolnir and Brother SRM

Yeap, IG track armor. I find it works very well for SM vehicles as well when you need to bulk them up. I decided on the Sentinel legs because I believe they go along with the whole move through terrian that an Ironclad can do better then the regular stubby legs of a dreadnought. And I intend to add armor to them as well.

Thanks everyone for all the comments :D

Actually, I think the way they're posed in the pic are pretty great - gives the impression of a gorilla-like behemoth of a machine barreling forward to tear its foe to shreds!

i wouldnt use the chicken legs personally, its much too high and makes it look kinda silly and cartoony. best use some lengthened dreadnought legs with extra armour plates added on. if it comes down to it, use some gundam legs or something. some really massively thick ones. the claws are a little too big, i would have use Ghazkghulls claws personally (i cant spell his name and too lazy to find the correct spelling, but you know who im talking about so no worries)

It looks like that massive Transformer from the new film (those of you who've seen the trailer you miight know what I mean ;) ). Agreed on bulking the legs, maybe add lots of plates. Cos right now he looks like he might fall over from all that weight...

*gets flattened by falling dread* owww... ;)
