Pyro_Falcon
did any one see that CGI kids movie, where the t-rex got stuck in a corner chasing a guy cos he had a big head and little arms, reminds me of that aha! -Brutus-
you could also cut off one section of the legs. I did this myself on my dread with sentinel-legs. He looked way to goofy whit those long thin legs. The holes in the middlesection will fit with some force -_- Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/162994-ironclad-dreadnought/page/2/#findComment-1930071 Share on other sites

Rindaris
Going through several different ideas I came to the conclusion I couldn't just bulk up the sentinel legs as they are. So that left me with two options. First is leave it be as it is or second to adjust the legs that I removed to be straight up and down like the sentinel legs and cut the sentinel legs at the 'knee' joint replacing the lower half with the adjusted dreadnought feet. Rindaris
Ok, did some work on the legs. I think I've got it done build-wise. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y24/jeskasl/SANY0753.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y24/jeskasl/SANY0754.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y24/jeskasl/SANY0755.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/162994-ironclad-dreadnought/page/2/#findComment-1932451 Share on other sites
Hubernator
He still looks like he's a lumbering beast. Sorta like he's gonna give someone a massage. A very painful massage B) Who's the victim? How about turning the claws sideways so it looks like he's rowing to crush something? Apothete
The legs are still too spindly to go along with the rest of the build, which is sad because the bulked-up look you've got going on conveys the sense of heavier, more solid tombs for half-dead marines. One look at those things and any enemy worth their salt will attack low and ignore the extra plating up high, since a dreadnought that's faceplanted in the mud isn't going to do much. Plus, he looks like he'd sink into the ground with all that downforce on those tiny feet... I think it's good from the waist up, but I'm not sure what you could do - short of scratch building - to fix the lower half. Maybe you could move the dreadnought shin plates up to cover the thighs and give him bulkier lower limbs in general? Splinter
Thinking about it perhaps he could run around on all fours like a bear? A very big, spikey bear. Though a few plasticard tubes could make some nice additional pistons for extra bulk Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/162994-ironclad-dreadnought/page/2/#findComment-1933318 Share on other sites
Master Toddius
I would go back to the original legs and bulk them up the same way FW does with thier titan legs. The warhounds look like evil chickens without the leg armor as well. No worries, just bust out the plastic sheets and do some blades of armor. I think the claws are over the top, but thats ok. I would however turn on of the claws to its side and pose it to look like hes going to grab something. Makes him more aggressive looking and finishes the style you're going for, imho. Paradigm
this is rad! It reminds me of the speedy zombies in 28 days later... Too bad you arent using this for chaos as it would make a very very cool chaos dread as well.
