Ocid
Hey folks. I'm planning to start a Renegade Militia army in the near future and was wondering what codex people typically use to represent them. I don't have either of the Siege of Vraks books atm though they should be here sometime next week so i have no real idea of the structure of the army. While i'll be basing them off whats detailed in those books i'd like to have them tournament legal. Gyson_Vore
Heh, or try this as an idea. Deamon Hunters. Use the Militia models from FW to represent Inqusitional Storm Troopers and then CSM as Grey Knights. Change some of the weapons to make them a more 'chaos-y' legion, using replecements from Codex:CSM Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/163084-renegade-militia/#findComment-1916768 Share on other sites
Scout Sniper
There's always Codex: eye of terror's the lost and the damned list but I don't think it's tournament legal. I still use it though. Drudge Dreadnought
There is currently no tournament legal way to have marines are guard in the same list except for grey nights and storm troopers as mentioned. If you really want a traitor guard army you have to play Apoc. DuskRaider
IA: 5, IA: 6, & IA: 7. Figure you're spending all the cash to buy from FW, might as well use their rules (and trust me, it is expensive). Acerbus
i played for a while with IG with daemonhunter allies, it worked out decently, however the expenisve DH units take away from your tanks and such. the IA books are good, but as it has been said very expensive. Brother Hadafix
There is a list in the back of the WH that I think is tourney legal. It doesnt look that great tho. DuskRaider
It's not tourney legal. It's only there to play against WH exclusively. Your best bet is to use the FW books when possible, but if you intend to go tourney, use the IG codex (as FW rules aren't allowed).
