Master Toddius
Well, the title says it all. They are relentless so I'm assuming I can rapid fire then charge whatevers left and hasn't fallen back out of range. Is this correct? SeattleDV8
Actually there is no rapid firing. There are rapid fire weapons which fire 2 shots up to 12" and one shot to their max range (not moving of course). Isiah
Actually there is no rapid firing. There are rapid fire weapons which fire 2 shots up to 12" and one shot to their max range (not moving of course). Remember Bikers gain here as Relelntless USR allows them to move, then double-tap to 12" or single-shot to max range should they want to, then assault. Morticon
Also remember however, that you must fire a weapon at its full effect - so no firing 1 shot at maximum range within 12" ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/163203-can-bikers-rapid-fire-then-charge/#findComment-1921337 Share on other sites
Steelmage99
Really? Not that I don't believe you. I have just never noticed that in the rules before. Can you quote the rule, please? nighthawks
it's not a "thou shall not" rule, but it is pretty clear on p.28 of the BRB: "models armed with rapid fire weapons may instead fir one shot at targets over 12" away... the firers within 12" will fire two shots, while those farther away will fire one. as you can only do what you are allowed - as I am sure you will not disagree - then you may only fire a single shot if firing at a target over 12" away, but must always fire twice at targets within 12". Steelmage99
Yep, that seems clear enough. :P Thanks. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/163203-can-bikers-rapid-fire-then-charge/#findComment-1921522 Share on other sites
