Hi there,

finally a update! Worked on more Marines and a new unit champion. Also made 3 conversions for my Raptor squad and added new freehands on the rhino.

So here are the wip pics:

Rhino: added some more freehands and applied numerous washes to get a weathered look.

Raptors: Tried to generate some dynamic poses. Used mainly the possessed CSM sprue with some pieces from the SM jumppack box. Also added spikes and blades, so they stand out more.

some minor conversions:

Raptor champion: minor changes in the color scheme. Really like the spikes.

More CSM:

Unit Champion: 2 big claws for this guy and a tentacle head!

The army grows slowly but steadily.

C&C as always is welcomed.

Bye

Absolutely stunning; I love highly characterised armies, and this is one of the most distinct and characteristic I've ever seen. Excellent conversions, beautiful paint work; setting a very, very high bench mark for Chaos fans everywhere. Also, I dig the Lovecraftian theme :cuss

awesome marines, chaos brother. My superiors in the Dragons of Death renegade Chapter would be proud!

on a side not, on the areas where you've used loyalist legs, remove the purity seals on the legs, as it makes them look more... "Chaosy"...

Hi all,

started to work on my dreadnought. Since i cannot paint him fully assembled i will work on the 4 major parts seperately. First the left arm with lots of blades and spikes. Same colors as the marines, but with more metals in it. Also used some fleshy tones for the mutations. Did some freehandstuff to add texture.

Not sure if i keep the tentacles like that. Maybe add some red wash.

So here the pics:

Hello all,

this week i was working mainly on the dreadnought, did the basic colors with shadowing and some highlights, also added some details like freehands. Really like how the different colors came together. Still need to paint the two heads and finish some minor stuff but for now i turn my attention to another model, since i kinda got bored with this one :D

So here are the pictures:

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y263/geisterwolf/DSC04641.jpg

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y263/geisterwolf/DSC04645.jpg

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y263/geisterwolf/DSC04648.jpg

MRCHAOS: for flesh i usually take a redish brown and mix it with a flesh tone. 50/50. Thats my basic color. Then i add more flesh tone for the highlights. After that i wash or glaze with brown and red till i get the effect i want.

So thats all for now, as alway C&C are welcomed

Hello all,

just a quick update. Started on the terminator squad by converting the first terminator. Really wanted to make them stand out. So i tried to make them look possessed, like puppets for their demon hosts.

Here are the pics:

OMG, these are absolutely amazing! I've been searching for a muze for my WW1 themed Deathguard army, and I believe I just found it! Possitively beautiful work... though this does mean i'll have to try extra hard to purge you... send in the drop pods! :)
