The_Betrayed_Spacewolf
over christmas i came into the possession of a wolf guard model that had a fake bionic leg. while not painting him until now i was wondering what a proper colour would be for his bionic leg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/163245-peg-legs/ Share on other sites
Wolf Guard Hengist
For me it would depend on the main colour of the rest of the figure. For example my space wolf army has grey power armour so I would avoid painting it Boltgun Metal I'd go for perhaps a Bronze or Gold colour to make it stand out more. Vassakov
As Hengist says, a contrasting colour would work best. The 'Eavy Metal version has a gold/brass colour for it and that works well, with Red or bright steel being other alternatives. Grey Mage
I tend to mix the colors a bit, some boltgun, some bronze, and on HQ its got some shoddy "filigree" work on... freehand can be rough lol.
