Bearboy
I got my guy today. The slotta base tab doesn't seem to fit properly in the base and I was given a metal base sized round ork symbol. Is this normal? All the pictures i've seen have had him on a decrative base but they didn't seem very orky. Grey Mage
Yes, its normal. Your supposed to glue the guy to the ork base and the ork base to the plastic base... keeps him from falling over. Bearboy
Then why do they give the slotta tab/srap metal at the legs then :D ? Anyway thanks for that! Max_Dammit
The same reason all the thin hair like lines and other extra stuff is on him, for casting Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/163296-new-wolf-gaurd-model/#findComment-1919148 Share on other sites
Durfast Spiritwolf
I thought that it might need pining but it seems to be holding okay with superglue. However, even the slightest gradient causes it to fall over so you might want some ballast underneath at the back as it could have done with being mounted further back on the base. TAVAAR
I finally got around to assembling my guy yesterday and he's holing well. Even though I cut the tab off the bottom it still doesn't fit flush with a plastic base, so I'm green stuffing it. I'll also be mashing some fishing lead weights and gluing them to the bottom of the plastic base as he is still to forward heavy (especially as no game table is ever truly flat and then, who uses to flat parts all the time anyway?). Anyway I plan on getting a pack of them and doing some converting so that there is variation in the look. The one thing about the look of him that I don't like, which I was hoping against but holding him I know you could do it...and make it look like this, is putting a clown nose on him... Granted he'd be a sweet clown, and one to be feared at that, but it still would work too well for my liking...
