Paulochromis
Hi people, Loving Sternguard, at least as a concept. Question regarding combi-weapons. I think I recall a comment regarding the special ammo, along the lines of the whole squad must use the same special ammo in one round. But as for the combi-weapons, given their one shot nature, what's allowed? Let's say I have a drop pod squad of 6 with 2 combi-plasmas, 2 combi-meltas and 2 combi-flamers If I land next to a tank, can I just use meltasx2 and 4xspecial ammo? Next turn gate to some terminators and use the plasma. Next turn gate to some scouts and use the flamers. Alternatively, can I fire one of each combi, and special ammo for the rest? Next turn same again? I'm not keen to shoot my bolt (haha) and use up all my combi options all at one. If I'm allowed to mix and match (the question for this forum), how do I keep track of who has fired what? Cheers, Paul. Seahawk
Yes you can. How do you keep track? Mentallly, or just scribble it down on your army list you brought to the game (you did do that, right? ;)) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/163363-mixed-combi-weapons/#findComment-1920044 Share on other sites
eyescrossed
I believe you can, though I'm probably wrong. AGAIN. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/163363-mixed-combi-weapons/#findComment-1920046 Share on other sites
nighthawks
yes: each combi-weapon has the option, once per game, to fire the non-bolter portion. when fired as a bolter, you may (must?), of course, use special issue ammo. any combination or timing is allowed, and you can mark the use on your sheet, with a marker, via some removable bit on the model or his base, however you want...
