Grey Hunter Ydalir
e.g 1986/3= 662. Gotta say Ferrus, thats a good idea. Sometimes I think, why didn't I think of that? But it doesen't matter so long as it got to me eventually. On another uplifting note I should have more time available to me within the next few days to get to my PC and - excepting something tragic like writers block or unexpected bedlam at home - I will be able to work on the Blazing Sons! I am extremely happy about this, though I am finding myself rather distracted as I have had more than a couple of inspiring ideas for new chapters that I have been forced to write down for fear of forgetting them, whether they are good or not is another question but I am determined to finish the Blazing Sons and submit them to the Librarium before all else. Or at least, before I start on a new chapter. ;) Appreciate the help everyone has pitched in so far and god-emperor ruddy willing you will see an update to the main body of the IA soon enough. :tu: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/163415-ia-blazing-sons/page/2/#findComment-1965480 Share on other sites
Dazzo
So do they have a colour scheme, and if so would you like me to knock up an image for you? I would have to simplify the symbol though as much of the detail would be lost anyway. Grey Hunter Ydalir
I keep staring at the entire page of this DIY and wanting desperately to dive in and fix it up, expand on it and refine it to the point I want it, or at least towards that ideal. The problem is I stare at it and I seem to be unable to find where to start, what to change and how. I'm usually better with rewriting the entire thing rather than making changes to what is already there. I'll have to make a decision soon as having Dazzo whip up a very cool, slightly customized painter-marine for the Blazing Sons has made me want these guys to be finished. I have similar issues regarding the Bloodsworn but since they are newer it's not as pronounced. I think this is a problem I have to circumvent somehow myself as it's plagued me for a while now. Here's hoping for a burst of inspiration. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/163415-ia-blazing-sons/page/2/#findComment-2112648 Share on other sites
Ferrus Manus
It sounds like the theme you've chosen for these guys isn't pronounced enough to create a Chapter out of it. I had this once or twice before, my first version of the Lions suffered to an extent. I'd suggest either re-inventing your current theme or choosing a newer one. Grey Hunter Ydalir
I'd suggest either re-inventing your current theme or choosing a newer one. Seems a shame to retool what I have already, which I have some loyalty to as I do like it. You could be right though. As you suggest, I'll have to think on it. Thanks Ferrus.
