It is all finished and It's my most favourite army I know have. I even had a hat specially made for me that was orange and blue to match the army. Anyway, pictures I suppose. Grand Master Tchezzarus Posted March 18, 2009 Share Posted March 18, 2009 I'm not a big fan of the colour scheme, but it's nicely done, and the 2 half patern is realy original! I realy love the flamme on GKTs and Dreads weapon (could we have closer pics of those models?) What are the models on the 5th picture? WB empire mage? what do you use them for? Inq & retinue? All in all, it's a nice army you've got there! I just think that you should rework the bases (fill the holes with GS, hilight them a bit, maybe some impact on the tiles...). Here is an example of what i mean : As you see, i've done a base similar in the concept for my GKT. It wont be too long or difficult to improve your bases, and will greatly enhance the appearance of your army as a whole. Keep on painting! My regards, Tchezz. How did you create that sort of base effect? That is exactly the sort of thing I would like to replicate with mine.Is that all painted, or is there a modelling aspect to them? Grand Master Tchezzarus Posted March 18, 2009 Share Posted March 18, 2009 Not really a "modeling" aspect : 1st I paint the base codex grey, then i use a modeling knife & modeling files to "dig" the tiles joints and impact (thats why it appear black, it's not even painted!), and finaly I hilighted them in white! Not even 1 min of work per base! There will just be a bit more work for the GK than the GKT as you will need to fill those holes first. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
