Emo Slayer
A few questions. If I take Chronus as an upgrade, does my opponent need to kill him and the tank for the kill point? Or is he his own point? In the Chapter Master and Captain entries, it states: "Replace bolt pistol and/or chainsword with:" Does this mean I can replace the pistol with, let's say, a powerfist and the chainsword with another powerfist? Or a storm bolter and a power sword? Thanks for those who answer. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/163543-newbie-questions/ Share on other sites
Cedric
Welcome to B&C! The issue with Chronus and KP is discussed in this thread (link). Sadly, no consensus have been reached, so we wait for a FAQ. You can indeed replace both weapons for a grand total of 2 powerfists, thunderhammers or whatever. Mycroft Holmes
From the Independant National Warhammer 40,000 Tournament FAQ SM.89.01 – Q: Is Chronus worth a Kill Point if he manages to escape his vehicle? A: Chronus’s vehicle is worth 1 Kill Point and Chronus himself is worth another Kill Point if (and only if) he manages to escape and is later killed [clarification]. I'm not suggesting that this is official, rather that this is how it would be played at a tournament. SeattleDV8
Although the FAQ is a well thought out and reasonable piece of work it is not official and has no more standing than any other house rules.
