The Crimson Cartel
Ok Brothers I need an assist. I have a Blood Angels Chaplian conversion in progress, and need help with a color scheme for his partial cloak. The back of the cloak will be red (highlighted dark to light) to keep with a BA color scheme, but it is the interior that I can't wrap my head around. What would look good with the red, and also not get blended to much with the black armor and shade of grey highlights? Any suggestions welcome. Chaplain Kharn
how about burgundy with a gold trim? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/163602-cloak-help/#findComment-1923179 Share on other sites
Captin Xavier
Would be nice if you could get some pics, then it'd be easier to 'see' what was there but from your description maybe a nice deep brown is in order, with a little bit of colour (up to you) as detailing. what colour are the eyes for the model, maybe it would help give some idea as to what to put there. The Crimson Cartel
Burgundy could possibly work. I could make it darker than the exterior, though it may make the cloak look a bit less finished. I think cloaks with a 2 part scheme make for better presentation, as well as give the model a more "important" bearing fluff wise. The eyes are not complete yet, but they will have a glowing green lense effect. As a side note which I should have posted with the original, the model is Mostly the "Master of the recruits" model from GW. He has a new right arm, skull helm, left arm, and will get a jump pack. madscuzzy
Yellow might work well. It doesnt fight with the red... and does give sense of intensity. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/163602-cloak-help/#findComment-1923336 Share on other sites
