plaugedpanda
it looks like you just glued a marine torso and such to terminator legs Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/163661-truescale-marine-for-idiots/#findComment-1924133 Share on other sites
cathar the great
Doesn't look like much I'm afraid. The legs look far too big in comparison with the rest. The minimum you'll have to do is: bulk up the torso with GS (easiest would be making robes), use Terminator arms and shoulderpads and fill the back of the Termi legs with GS so they look like power armor leg. That is still really simple and has the potential to look good. Firenze
I once tried this and also tried doghouses tutorial alongside it. The doghouse looks a million times better. GS the back of the legs so they are smooth and also use the termie arms. Bulk out the chest too. Grand Master SFDRF
Gday all. Bit of an update Quite rare... me putting an update in one of my threads. The general idea was just to be a taller marine, but could be used for a true scale... Might do that bit later. Just some new pictures, GS'ed some robes on, didnt fill up the legs though. I like the look to much. http://stewart.polley.org/Personal/Army%20pics/Large%20marine%20005.jpg http://stewart.polley.org/Personal/Army%20pics/Large%20marine%20006.jpg http://stewart.polley.org/Personal/Army%20pics/Large%20marine%20007.jpg http://stewart.polley.org/Personal/Army%20pics/Large%20marine%20008.jpg http://stewart.polley.org/Personal/Army%20pics/Large%20marine%20009.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/163661-truescale-marine-for-idiots/#findComment-1925659 Share on other sites
Dragonkin Arenis
I'm thinking of doing a true-scaled Marine, using termie parts, o' course... I'm thinking of cutting off the 'halo' around the head, removing some of the back so it looks reasonably like Power Armour, changing the termie shoulder pads so it looks more like Power Armour, adding a backpack and Tactical Marine helmet, and finally - might convert some Termie Arms to hold Bolters, and look like power armour arms... Speaking of which... time to invest in a squad of Termies, methinks... Good luck, hoping to see a bunch of improvements on this scheme...
