Beef
Spoiler below highlight to see Ok so i read the new short story in the new HH series. It contained Bulveye axman of Rus. The thing that amazed me was that Whereas other chapters when first founded had older warriers the Primarches grew up with but were to old for astartes implants were still modified above normal humans, you see this in the DA or Lorgars own host with Kor Phaeron who was a man just like cyper (but given implants) In the DA HH book we even see some captian or another who is obviously a true SM. In this Bulvey and a whole lot of other were too old for geneseed but they were stubborn and the emp relented even though he thought all of them would die BUT they did not a handfull made it so the SW did not have human who were upgraded like some other chapters Our brave warrioer when the whole way even though 99% of the one who were to old died. Also It was good to see a SW that was not all that barbaric (he was in appearance only) and showed a real human side to the wolves Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/163696-interesting-info-on-sw-from-the-new-heresy-short-stories/ Share on other sites
LPetersson
Also It was good to see a SW that was not all that barbaric (he was in appearance only) and showed a real human side to the wolves[/color] But that is exactly it about the wolves. In my eyes, because we are slightly barbaric, we retain much more humanity than most chapters seem to do... Hence why the common man loves the wolves and Grimnar even have a special rule to say how much everyone loves him :-) But yeah, I'm looking forwards to reading this book and will get it very very soon ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/163696-interesting-info-on-sw-from-the-new-heresy-short-stories/#findComment-1924567 Share on other sites
Durfast Spiritwolf
It was a good read, there is the odd discrepancy that may rankle but not if you only treat it as a few hours diversion rather than lore ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/163696-interesting-info-on-sw-from-the-new-heresy-short-stories/#findComment-1925411 Share on other sites
