white_charisma
This is going to be the first Nurgly piece I have ever done, I thought that it would be appropriate to do Solun Decius, aka Lord of The Flies. I got the idea from reading the Horus Heresy book Flight of Eisenstein. I had finished reading the book a few months ago, and then I started thinking about an idea for a mini, and I came upon Decius. Below are some starting pics, the base is a normal space marine torso and legs, with some gree stuffing, where the soft armor is. I also stared working on some boils on the upper left greave as well as the backpack. I would like to hear comments, as well as constructive criticism. In case you guys were wondering why he has a large cut missing from his torso, there is going to be infected tissue oozing out of there, maybe some dead bug bodies. tank18
I didnt thin Solan had armor on after he became the lord of flies, that what he had was carapace like an insect. white_charisma
I think that he was in the apothecarium with his armour on, when nurgle's rot was taking over. Regardless, the mini is going to have a great deal of greenstuff work done on it, the pics are just the beginning stages. white_charisma
Update. Some greenstuff work done on both legs, as you can see. Some boils on front of right greave, torn skin on rear of same greave. Fungus and some small boils on left greave.
