Darathas
Hey guys, the rule where it states that if you modify the base of a model, and make the model higher as a result makes it a permision model? Because i'm pretty sure this rule exists but i cant seem to find it This comes under true line of sight yeah? Isiah
The wording is (not having book to hand) something like if the base interferes with the mechanics of the game then yes permision must be sought. As Darathas says this probably involves TLOS issues more than any other. Banville
If you're worried about conversions I don't think I've come across one single objection or tourney ruling against having a scenic base. A lot of Irish and UK GT entrants go hell for leather with basing and conversion and nobody has had any issues with it. As long as you don't mount your Devastators on a two foot tall spire, you should be fine.
