Questions about the red angel in the horus heresy visions co

Hi all

 

Just a question, can anyone tell me what or who is the red angel? The one in the Horus Heresy collected visions..

Looks like a blood angel but what's his story?

Maybe it's a Blood Angel who was taken and possessed during the signus fiasco where Sanguinius battled Ka'Bahnda.

I'm not sure, there doesn't seem to be any other information about it.

 

If I had to take a guess, I'd say its perhaps a daemon, summoned and then bound within the body of a blood angel marine. Perhaps something to do with when the Blood Angels are double crossed by Horus and lose alot of men on that daemon world?

i haven't seen the pic but the Red Angel was another name for Angron.

Its a blood angel and i guess its used as some kind of Sacrifice.

Just one of the reasons I do not like Horus and his traitorous brethren. Desecrating a Blood Angel like that. ;) But like others have said there is no background about him it's just the picture. And just one more reason to exterminate the Black Legion!!! :blink:

I'm not sure who/what he was. I always thought he was a greater demon possessing a marine fron the battle against the demons. He was a lot of fun to build though :lol:
