Fracture
I've had a love of iron Warriors ever since I read storm of Iron but have yet to do an army of them. Doesn't mean I haven't tried to start one though. This guy will be my Warsmith if I ever get the army off the ground. If you guys like him itmay well give me the push to actually get him painted. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v246/Damned_man/Iron%20Warriors/Picture001.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v246/Damned_man/Iron%20Warriors/Picture002.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v246/Damned_man/Iron%20Warriors/Picture003.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/165057-iron-warrior-warsmith/ Share on other sites

tortoise
Nice characterful conversion there. Loving the chainsword. One suggestion- the head looks too high. The model will appear more powerful and imposing if you lower it slightly. Fracture
The buzz saw and the rock drill are from necomunda pit slave weapon arms. I find necro models a great source of bits for conversions. I agree about the head. Will file the neck down before painting. Capt. Kenaz
Where did the chainsaw's blade come from??? Is that the INQ. Line ? Or is it Necro too? Great Pose, he'll look good at the center or head of an army! Technoscream
This has come out very well! somehow you've made the techmarine look chaosy, but it looks right, as if its always been that way. congrats. Commissar Molotov
Very nice model. I have to agree somewhat about the head seeming to sit a little too high, but the rest of the model is great. It looks like you'll have some very nice Iron Warriors if you continue! Fracture
Glad you guys like him so far. The chainsaw blade comes from one of the old old aspiring champion models from the 90's. Pretty sure it's oop now unfortunatly. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/165057-iron-warrior-warsmith/#findComment-1945006 Share on other sites
Vandael
Nice conversionwork! This shows that the techmarine is a perfect basis for "our" Warsmiths. Always nice to see more Iron Warriors on the board. Hopfully you'll be keeping a WIP of your warsmith and/or your Iron Warriors here on B&C. Now get a brush and some paint and give this sucker some colour :D Cheers, Vandael Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/165057-iron-warrior-warsmith/#findComment-1945118 Share on other sites
Messanger of Death
Nice conversionwork! ... Now get a brush and some paint and give this sucker some colour The conversion work looks so natural, almost like it is an offical model. Totally taitor looking. Gives the impression that those sadistic blades are going to be used by a twisted mind, which I think is perfect. And I so agree with Vandael. drummer mather
i love the conversion, very evil looking. ^_^ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/165057-iron-warrior-warsmith/#findComment-1945206 Share on other sites
blood_raven_240
The conversion looks absolutely wicked, you should get him painted for sure! It'd be a shame not to. I do, however, agree with Tortoise's suggestion. If you can find a way without to much hastle, I'd suggest lowering the head too. Other than that, a seemless conversion ^_^ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/165057-iron-warrior-warsmith/#findComment-1945212 Share on other sites
