Dreadnought after Drop Podding

Sorry if this has been discussed already, but if my Ironclad Dreadnough (ie. any Dreadnough) Drop Pods from the sky, shoots up stuff and C'Tan charges it, it will hit with normal WS right? Cause I kinda thought for some time that it needed 6s to hit...but the "walkers in combat" overrides it, hitting with normal WS. Right?

Sorry for this stupid question.

walkers' movement speed in the previous turn is not relevant in CC. As they are passengers in this scenario, it's even more irrelevant as the passengers from a moving vehicle also do not gain any effects of the speed moved unless they remain embarked (thus being untargetable).

there is a bit of a grey area regarding the drop pod itself as it is both immobilized and had moved cruising speed per deep strike rules - there's a rather current thread on that HERE.

To answer your question yes walkers in combat overrides the vehicles speed bit. Mater of fact the part that talks about using a vehicles speed says its because they dont have a WS that you use their speed. Against anything with a WS you will use a comparision of WS (unless the unit has a special rule that says otherwise, such as always hiting on 3+)
