Arminus Setrus Draco
The second Dragon Knight Chronicles story The Dragon Knight Chronicles: A Pilgrimage to Wyrm Tower Brother Varus walked up the long, winding staircase. It was quiet, which should have meant it was safe. In truth, it was completely the opposite. Varus slowed. The primitive creatures which lived in the tower, the Wyrmen, weren't there. Varus stopped and looked around. Something had scared them off. The marine held the gun steady, and looked through the sights, holding the trigger loosely. Varus carried on walking, still looking around. The trigger creaked and the target came into focus. Varus stopped and crouched. The marine pulled the trigger back. A silent shot was fired. It hit. Varus slipped, and stared at the hole in his armour. He ripped it off and checked his bionic leg. The marine sneered and fired again. Hit in the neck. Varus grabbed his neck and collapsed, dead. Arminus Draco pointed at Brother Sergeant Agnathus. "Your mistake in that battle almost killed us all!" roared Arminus. "My Lord," whimpered Agnathus, "I was in danger. I didn't know what to do!" "I understand that, but you didn't to call an Exterminatus!" bellowed Arminus. "I contacted the wrong people and told them to eradicate the enemy," said Agnathus. Arminus calmed. "A foolish mistake, but you can be forgiven by going on a pilgrimage to one of Draco's favorite places on this planet. Hence, I am going send you to the Wyrm Tower, which is the location of Draco's legendary Wyrm Blade. You are to stay there for a month, and then return," he ordered. "Thank you, my Lord," thanked Agnathus. Agnathus picked up his bag and walked to the ancient "Gates of Draco." "Good luck brother," said one of the guards saluting. "Thank you brother Antonius," replied Agnathus. He walked through the gates and looked at the ash covered wastes in front of him. A long way to the tower. Agnathus took a step forward and the stones cracked beneath his feet. "Ah. Back in the wild," sighed Agnathus. Agnathus walked for days. Finally, he reached the staircase to the Wyrm Blade. He put one foot onto a step, and then his other foot onto a second step, and then his third foot onto...He didn't have a third foot. SMASH! Agnathus punched the mysterious person in the face. "Chaos!" cried Agnathus. The marine looked from side to side. He reached for a rock and then, BANG! "I...Hate...Chaos!" snarled Agnathus, and them he blew the smoke from his bolt pistol. He had to climb to the top and stay there for a month. Easy! 1 Month Later Agnathus walked in through the gates. His hair was long, matted and greasy. His armour had been dented by rocks and bolt blasts, but he was still alive and nothing was missing. "Welcome back Agnathus. Was it calm?" greeted Arminus. "No. Not calm. Can I come into your chamber? I have lots to tell you," laughed Agnathus. THE END So what do you all think. I need some ideas for my next story. Any ideas are welcome!
