Master Chaplain Astador Posted April 8, 2009 Share Posted April 8, 2009 I would suggest cleaning the mold line on the top of his head to start. Try thinning your paints and applying them to the model in thin layers. It appears that you understand layering based on the face, but your paint is still a little thick. Also don't use pure White for the eyes, use an off White or leave the eyes dark in the recess of the face. The shoulder pad needs thinner coats on the icon. It looks to me like you rushed through it. Build up the colour using the foundation greys to pure White. Other than that, take your time and keep painting :( better pictures will help too.
