Killian Doyle
Hi guys, long time no post! First off, I've read the rules and I know trading and selling stuff is not allowed, but I figured that, being a charity project, the bosses would be OK with me posting it here, if that's not the case, I'll edit the thread to a regular WIP one. Me and a bunch of other guys at the ¨Tercios de Hierro¨Spanish forum are painting a Space Marine character group that we plan on selling on ebay and donate the profits to an organization helping the people affected by the recent earthquake in Italy. We are not ¨pro-painters¨ (I hate this term, seriously) some of us have won local painting contests, but that's it. We don't plan on making loads of money but I suppose every little helps, besides we are enjoying our hobby AND doing some good. Long story short, I will be painting an Ultramarines dreadnought and i will be posting updates as I go. If the other guys send me pictures of their advances, I'll also post them for you. Stay tuned! First update due on Monday. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/166177-project-earthquake-helping-italy/ Share on other sites

Mhorr
I'm from Italy, even if I don't live around the earthquaked area, and I'm really surprised and touched to find that even in this place strictly dedicated to a game there are people that don't miss the opportunity to show, even with little things (but not less important) how big their hearts are ;) THANK YOU very much guys!! I firmly believe i can say it for those that don't think have the time, neither resource to watch the forum and thank you personally. Good work. Killian Doyle
Brothers, I got carried away and finished the whole thing before having the opportunity of taking WIP pictures, so, if you please go to the hall of honor, you can see a new post with the completed dreadnought. Cheers! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/166177-project-earthquake-helping-italy/#findComment-1971115 Share on other sites
Harbinger
Gotta say, loving that Chappy, how was his parchment painted? Looks awesome! Are you guys gonna be doing a unified basing scheme, like your dread, or is it gonna be each to his own? Killian Doyle
Bases are going to be as unified as we can manage to from the distance, since the people involved is from the four corners of Spain. Why? Do you like the kind of terrain I used? If so, it is dead easy to make. As far as the Chaplain goes... I'll ask his painter and let you know :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/166177-project-earthquake-helping-italy/#findComment-1971210 Share on other sites
