HJL
I decided to paint up some scouts i had laying around for a while. After thinking about it I realised that they would be much better at their job if they had camos, i fight on a city board mostly, so here goes. HIMSA
Pretty sweet, I do think camo works better with the lightest colour as the basecolour though. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/166343-da-scouts/#findComment-1959509 Share on other sites

HJL
lol thanks son, on these ones i tried dry brushing to pick out detail and then a light black wash to blend it all together a bit better, im not sure i like the results too much though. kravi
How the heck did you get that flat grey on the bolters? I need/want to know! It's smooth as getout and works nicely. Looks like a mat plastic of sorts. --Me Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/166343-da-scouts/#findComment-1961708 Share on other sites

jlmb_123
If I can give you a tip (I'm an asolutely awful painter myself, but there you go...), try to extend the pupils so that they touch the top and bottom of the eye. The shocked expression will fade away. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/166343-da-scouts/#findComment-1962534 Share on other sites
