Aidoneus
If a unit takes more than 25% casualties from a pinning weapon (say, a whirlwind), what happens? Obviously the first thing is that it takes a pinning test. What then? Will it also need to take a morale check? Does it depend on whether or not they pass their pinning test? nighthawks
pinning = going to ground. units gone to ground must still take moral checks. so pass or fail the pinning test, you must still make the moral check. BRB P24, last paragraph on the "Going To Ground" box. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/166390-pinning-and-morale/#findComment-1959583 Share on other sites

Agrab
HAHA, my whirlwind massacre was done correctly that said, I think that this is an oversight on the part of GW, i mean, it basically is "Lets hit the dirt" followed by two seconds later "Let's get the bleep outa here" Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/166390-pinning-and-morale/#findComment-1962528 Share on other sites
