Grey Knights as Collecters Items only?

Hey there, just another quick question. Well after forming a deal to get some more Grey Knights, the guy told me that it might be a waste considering that GW will be making them into collector items only. Is this true because if it is I'm really going to be annoyed ;)
If they drop the current line of GK's then they will likelt drop GK's all together... considering the cost involved in making a new set of plastic sprues for GK's and the fact the GW considers =][= forces to be an 'extra'.... well its not good if its true...
That may be a good indication.. but lets face it, forgeworld and GW don't communicate very well... they may be run by the same company, and even out of the same site, but they are different buildings... and it seems that nobody bothers to carry the memos from one building to the other....
There have been rumors of plastic Grey Knights for awhile now, especially before Planetstrike is released because of the emphasis on assaulting with Deep Striking units. If you'd been told that the current metal Grey Knights are becoming plastic, that more than likely means that they are working on plastic sprues.

It would figure that GW would come out with plastic Grey Knights right after I bought a couple squads of metal GKs...

Look on the bright side, now you'll have even more variety among your units! If its the same as our last then we'll get 3 different poses, which means that you could have a unit of 8 vannila GK that only have one of the same models.

But I hope that they will follow the trend of multiple parts for almost limitless possible poses.

Only if they discontinue the codex as well. Otherwise, we will have a legit codex (3rd ed codex is 5th ed compliant with the latest FAQ) but limited edition pieces, what would be the first time in 40K history, I believe.

They only cut or not cut, never something in between.
