Fluffy question about lucius the eternal.

Similarly, the Sisters of Battle are trained to be very humble, attributing their victories to the Emperor. Even simple luck they claim is the Emperor's blessings and miracles, making it hard to determine where luck ends and Acts of Faith begin.

That does pose another interesting question of if the Sister would take enough pride in the act to fall. I doubt it... however the odds of a Sister or even a squad bringing down Lucius is rather slim to almost none. Unless of course he gets caught in the open at a distance :o

Close combat against Lucius would be painful for any unmodified humans; barring a large dose of luck/the Emperor's blessing the only Sororitas I can think of that might be a fair match vs. Lucius would be one of the Living Saints.

If Lucius were a bit further back in comfortable shooting range that would, of course, be a completely different matter; getting hit by sustained bolter fire from a dozen or so bolters (not to mention the possibility of being set on fire, melta'd, plasma'd, etc.) is going to be fatal for anything that's not a monstrous creature (and none too pleasant for most of those). That raises another interesting question: if Lucius gets killed by a group of people rather than a single individual who does he posess? The one who took the most satisfaction from his death?

On the other hand, if Slaanesh ever gets bored of Lucius, he'll be gone.

Slaanesh is a manifestation of excess and overindulgence, so the presence of Lucius will always be entertaining to the Lord of Dark Delights.

'Always' covers a long time, and I thought it rather presumptuous to second guess the desires of one of the Chaos gods (who are rather fickle after all). ;)

What your saying is who is counted as killing him? - If I stabbed someone in the wrist then someone shot them in the heart and they bled to death I think most people would question who actually killed him? The interpretation of the killing blow is one thing lawyers fight about in complex cases. The judge of the killer would probably be decided by slaanesh.

If I remember correctly wasnt someone famous in the past shot at a train station yet in a non-vital area, the doctors who treated the man used alot of unsafe and plain stupid practices (by modern times - like fasting the victim, drawing blood etc.). When the man died the resulting courtcase condemned the man who shot him as the killer and he was hung. The doctors got off free yet were the actual "murderers".

Finally- its another case of :

Slaanesh throws a pokeball and declares : I CHOOSE YOU!

Actually, they'd both be guilty under the joint enterprise rules. :P

That would break the chain of causation and the cause of death would be the doctors, since they aren't performing their duty. The shooter would get off. Maybe this case triggered the introduction of such legislation?

Anyhow, enough of my legal mumbo-jumbo. On with the debate! B)
