Fury_of_Fenris
im new and i was wondering can a space marine captain fire his bolter 3 times because hes got 3 attacks or does he only get 3 attacks in close combat? thanks Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/166865-shooting/ Share on other sites
Commander Sasha
His 3 attacks are only in close combat. If he has a pistol and another hand weapon like a sword, he gets an additional attack, ie 4. Doesn't affect shooting, and if he has a bolt pistol, it is only 1 shot. If he has a boltgun, he gets rapid fire rules, but would be down to 3 CC attacs, as he only had the one CC weapon. Nobody can fire more than one gun in their shooting phase. :tu: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/166865-shooting/#findComment-1965519 Share on other sites
juckto
3 in close combat (plus or minus any bonuses). For the number of shots, strength, etc of weapons you need to look up the appropriate weapon statline. arbogast1
yeah, three attacks in close combat, plus one when he charges. the amount of times he shoots depends on the gun he has. i had the same question when i started, actually.
