Khorne to Slaneesh DP switcharoo

I did a tiny bit of work on this guy:

so now he can dress up in Slaneesh drag and be a lash prince.

New bits include the (actual steel) fishook tip in the right arm for

action and removable "hat of Slaneesh" made from a vehicle icon hollowed out on the back. II painted it silver, washed purple ink over most of it, some chestnut on the skull, and then added gore spatters in mecherite red. A small lip in the rear, a bit of blue tak under the front, and simple gravity hold it on pretty well.

Hey, Slaneeshi DPs can wallow in depraved mindless brutality if they like, right?

 

I figure if I ever build another DP, I'm gonna greenstuff a head that is featureless, but has magnets to hold on a defiler "helmet face", and then put various icons on those.

 

For what its worth, I liked playing him with MOK, but it offers basically zero synergy with the rest of the army; he's just a bigger berserker / demon in an army full of berserkers and demons. The Lash version costs a mere 15 points more- the cost of one havoc launcher. It seems stupid to at not least have the option for competition oriented games.

Yah, thats the Chronopia Devout Soul Flayer head. Which is a "female" model- or at least has boobs. And has its armor attached to its body with rings through the flesh. And uses two big meat clever axes. So the Slaneesh / Khorne hybrid was there before I even did this job. <_<
