LPetersson
So, I got the WG with LCs (Only took 3 weeks, thanks GW) and it has a small round metal thing in it with what looks like an Ork skull & Crossbones symbol. It's about the size of a small round base. what is that for? Is the model meant to stand on that? Edited for typo Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/166974-the-wolf-guard-with-lcs/ Share on other sites
muzzyman1981
Yes, it's just a decoration for the base....as if the icon was blown off an Orky thing and the Wolf Guard is just running over it. OR You could give it to a friend who plays Ork....whatever you want to do with it. nedaroony
Me thinks its a nice little bit of decoration for Wolver....er i mean the wolf guard, save it for a dread base if you want and have some ork corpses on the base ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/166974-the-wolf-guard-with-lcs/#findComment-1966888 Share on other sites
stinkenheim
its also to help balance the base and keep the model standing... although putting a penny underneath (or making your own scenic base) is going to do the same job Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/166974-the-wolf-guard-with-lcs/#findComment-1966927 Share on other sites
Grey Mage
Yeah, thats what I figured it was for... keeping the model balanced. But a small coin does the trick real good, and a friend of mines got orkish convicts hes making.... how could I not give it to him for an objective marker?
