Scouts and some Dakka, such as attack bikes at least 2 with MM builds, Vindicator is always welcome at parties and a Razor Back.

At that point you have enough to start to get a feel for how we roll, or more importantly how you want to roll and you can make decisions from there. Cruise through the army list section and find out what people are bringing to GTs, this will give you a pretty good idea of what is competative. If your into fluff, some long fangs, blood claw bikers and some sort of Wolven model, to give a flavor of wolves.

WG Vrox.

Well, you have a good start to your army.

I would suggest the following, but by all means, recognize that mine isnt the only opinion in the world.

1. Play the wolf lord as a WGBL. cheaper, only slightly less effective. Well worth the lower points cost IMO

2. Decide if you want to go mechanized, drop pod, or a mix of the two. You have the units to go either way, but I would suggest the following if you choose one way or another:

a. If you go mech, get yourself a couple LRC's and something like a vindi. You can throw the bloodclaws and termies into the LRC's and watch them run amok, while the GH's and vindi stay back and pound the enemy to dust from range.

b. If you go mech/pod, having a WGBL with an AC, in a pod w/ 5 termies, 2 more AC's in there, plus a couple of SS/TH combo's, RC's all around, you have a wicked hard to kill and hard hitting unit. Also give the vendread a pod so he doesnt have to footslog it up to the enemy. Plop the GH's in rhinos, again to hold objectives, and round out the fire base with some long range weaponry, perhaps a single LRC for the BC's.

c. If you go all pod, It's pretty straight forward. I would get more dreads so you are more durable on the landing. I would say steer clear of the BC's and get at least 1 more GH unit, maybe 2. see above for a good termie unit. A vendread w/ a MM in a pod is a bad day for anyone (BS 5, so only missing on a 1, usually if you drop right on a model, you will ALWAYS be w/in 12 inches, so 2d6 armor pen w/ AP 1, typically a dead tank, round 1).

Quick edit to agree with Vrox, who beat me to the punch. Having played against ravenwing recently, a couple of MM bikes, use them as single model units, use them to pop tanks. works wonders, and draws potential anti-tank fire off your tanks to deal with them quick enough for them NOT to pop tanks. Then your actual tanks can turn around and make them regret shooting at a 50 pt model. I have to go pick myself up some of these ASAP.

Now now, Death. No making fun of the pup. For all we know, he's one of the few Wolf Lords that can count to 3. Gods know I gave up on numbers long ago. I only count in the deaths of my enemies. "Chaos plus Eldar equals Orks divided by Tau squared."

Sigged.
