I agree with rumours being just that.

Hey if you believe anything the next codex are going to be Dark Elder, Necrons and then Tyranids in roughly that order, so possible WH/DH codex posts sometime next year.

Now the only way they could stop Allies would to be bring out 6th Edition Warhammer 40k, and we all know that wont be for about atleast another 3 years, but it could happen.

Planetstrike has new Space Wolves models so I think that one comes before necrons in those three.

Inquisitor codexes will have options to include IG in some form or another even if they remove the allies rules. At the very least you can trust in that.

every time i talk about making a Imperial Guard army and throwing in some Grey Knights or Sisters at my LGS, the guy that runs the place says gw is taking away allies when the new Inquisition books come out. is this true or is he talking out of his rear end?

You'd think the LGS owner would want to sell you more models.

The allied/induction rules are going nowhere anytime soon. Any new Inquisition codex is simply not going to be ready until late late 2010 at the very earliest. And I wouldn't be surprised if it still didn't happen in 2011, either.

I wouldn't worry about allies going anywhere anytime soon.

then tell him you'll stop using allies once the new books come out. until then make your army the way you want to play it.
