mightygoose
i must say the finish is flawless, but that itslef is also their only weakness... i personally cant stand parade fresh marines.... these are soldiers, badass soldiers who rip humans in half and stuff, these guys belong on a catwalk..... Brother Captain Andrecus
Very clean, very realistic paintjobs (Minus the fact that they look like they're fresh out of the carwash and haven't seen battle in a while, but I digress.) I think that "Pristine" kind of cleanly look fits Ultras very well. Nice job, two thumbs up. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/167765-rickys-ultramarines/#findComment-1977942 Share on other sites

cathar the great
The black and yellow stripes on the AoBr rocket launcher backpack and the Dread are great little details. Other than that, meh, Ultras... ^^ EDIT: Didn't even see the great boltershell on the Dread. But it looks kind of out of place. You clearly have talent for freehands, why would you use ugly decals for the other symbols? Rob_Loken
You!! You and your incredible free hand!! nah seriously, very nice stuff there once again you've created some incredible freehand work. The bolt shell on the dread is amazing as are the hazard lines and...and well the whole kit and caboodle really. Tyrannicide
Very nice Ultramarines, my favorite is the first company dreadnought. I like the 'electrified' Ultramarines chapter symbol on the right greave, that's awesome. Brother-Captain Sharp
Good to see this, Ricky! As always looking great. Been a long time since I looked at all your models. Thought of a name for that chaplain yet You missed out. He already had a naming thread on 40kforums, so every single painted piece is named (he posted the pictures that were taken before the names were painted on). If you ask nicely, he might add you to the ever-growing list of future names. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/167765-rickys-ultramarines/#findComment-1978427 Share on other sites

FateSealer
They look great, and I myself prefer clean looking marines. But only because the majority of battle-worn marines I've seen were poorly painted, and look even worse with all the messy mud effects. If anything, these guys just take really good care of their armor =) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/167765-rickys-ultramarines/#findComment-1978916 Share on other sites
