I really like the hazard stripes on the back of your missile launcher marine, and will probably steal it (the idea, not the mini), don't worry though, I won't steal credit for the idea! And then make their version look..... WELL.... LAME!!!! :D If you do commissions you may never have to work again. But I cannot hate your marines in any way shape or form. My way to equal this out goes as follows. Your Marines are Blue Sons of Orar who flip their symbol upside down :P That Rhino is the best thing i've ever seen, that Dreadnaughts right greave Ultra symbol is amazing in every way, The dual wield bolter guy is worthy of Captain ranking! Every one of those veterans is dynamic, realistic, and ;) ing cool! If you ever paint a Blood angel (which I demand by the way) you must show it off for all the world to see. Absolutely amazing magnifying detail there. very good job on the models. and the backpack on the missle launcher marine is absolutely awesome! I personally prefer a much more weathered look but this is easily one of the very best "parade ground" marines I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. You're freehand is amazing but what really jumps out to me is your attention to detail. Nimrod Posted August 2, 2009 Share Posted August 2, 2009 Hey there! As everyone else pointed out already, VERY nice work on those models! What blue(s) are you using to get this radiant blue? I personally go with Mordian Blue base, Ultramarines Blue highlight (feathered) and then wash wit Asurmen Blue until it gets a rich dark blue effect. Then i go at it with Ultramarines Blue again to get the final highlights done. But i don´t really like the flat tone of Ultramarines Blue .
