Oy, are you ready for the most awesome peice of ;) ever?

My Witch hunters army!

I bought an Immolator from some guy, so I'll share the pics of it.

I've only painted a bit on the flame-turret.

For your entertainment I built myself a castle of paint for it to be parked in.

So... Please tell me how much fail it is... It is going to be repainted anyway. :jaw:

More pics coming up later, but for now.

Enjoy your stay!

Well, there is not reallt that much that can be said about the Immolator other than that it looks decent enough, just needs a touch up here and there with some paint and the paint already on it looks as though it's thin enough for you to paint over again. I would reccomend covering up the transfers on the rear hatch with some paint as they look horrible. Other than that though, it doesn't look half bad.

It's missing it's left head light, hopefully you've got it but just need to glue it back on? Also, the previous owner was a bit zealous with the transfers. They're supposed to be names for the vehicle, and this one seemingly has 3!

It's not a bad job, could do with a better coating here and there though. Are you going to completely repaint it? What colour scheme are you planning on doing?

ok, so I've painted a battle sister... Surprise, surprise!

The immolator is very... 'not as untouched' now so I'll take a pic on it later.

But here's the sister. It's some fine details on the armor and flamer left. :P

BEHOLD!

Stay online for more!

Conversely i quite like more muted, natural colour schemes like this, and it's been done well, kudos.

if i might offer one point, and it's something i often struggle with myself, your model as painted has no ral "focal point" - theres nothing to draw the eye. it's hard with helmeted models as we usually seek out the face, but even some definition on the eye lenses might give it that needed reference point

I wouldn't mind a brown color scheme, it could work-- but the red gloves and darkish grey armor don't really mix well with it, in my mind. If the armor was a bit brownish (not excessively so) it'd fit better-- similarly, if the gloves were a bit more orange-ish, they'd fit better as well. Basicly making it slightly more monochromatic, because Tan / Red / Dark Grey isn't necessarilly the best combination, although it is relatively unique.

Promise is fullfilled!

I've done some work on the decals on the shoulder and has started on the flamer now. :HQ:

The skull on the flamer is blue since I'm planning to do something special with it. ^_^
