This army is for the "Challenge Gareth" contest over on The Painted Dragon

 

The idea is to build and paint a 1500 point army faster than Gareth, there's no prize, just bragging rights ;D

I'll probably fail despite having the smallest army :D

The FW dread is awesome, the iconography really makes it DW, Belial looks pretty spiffy as well, if I could ask, are his legs converted, or is there a model with pimped out termie legs?

Belial is made from teh Red Scorpion special character ;) with added lightning claws and new head :)

 

The dread is beautiful, but a pain to put together -__-

Always nice to see a fellow DW player :cuss Those bases make the models sorta pop out a bit more, i'll have to see about investing in some of them lol. The scratch built Belial looks good as well, I've used the Lysander model for mines, and its always nice to see a more original one. Looking forward to seeing some paint on them <_<

Loooks hella good. A DW modeler also...I'm really excited. If your painting is as good as your modeling is, this is going to blow minds.

 

Just make sure to keep the flash line removal clean, they look kind of scratchy.

Seriously though, great use of costom bases and FW bits, when having so few models on the table, they should look the part.

Haven't assembled anything for a few days due to work. Only like 6 more terminators to assemble though.

Tried a paint test last night! Quick and simple, looks ok I guess, never been a fan of the bright bleached bone, so went for a more weathered sandy look.

just out of interest is this army for a tournament or anything specific or is it just for your own army for friendly games??

Mix really, don't think it could pull off as a tournament list really, I have my Genestealers and World Eaters for that. Not played with it yet though.
