Shaun Carlin
Riddle me this men and women of the Inq, can you put Grey knight Terminators in a Valkyrie zoom them across the field and have them assault right away? Ive heard it counts as open topped. nearly 1st turn charges to be had if true. Also has anyone tried combining the psker battle sqaud with the Culexus assassin yet? of the Callidus assassin (neural sherdder) Also as far as i know the command squad rules regarding orders is any non vehicle unit so allied Grey knights can use them (not get back in the fight of course) Grey knights fighting Deamons lowerin thier leadership and then the psker battle sqaud doing the same? Sheer 3 leman russ help? Sister sqauds using Valkyries to get into melta range near instantly? Any thoughts? but im really interested in the grey knight term Valkyrie attack thing would any one be so kind as to confirm or deny? Peredyne
I would say no. You can't put ogryns into Valks due to their size, and termies are the same size as ogryns. Currently, you can only take allied units as listed in the respective hunter codex, and the valks aren't listed at all. Shaun Carlin
Ogryns are bigger than terminators as far as i know and the rules only specifcally mention them, but if the codex mentions what you can take then i agree with you there, so i think it can happen but they can only be together in apoc games, are you able to just add a unit of Grey knight terminators to an imperial guard force tho? i remember seeing a picture of it in the 4th edition rule book and in the deamonhunters codex theres an ultramarine force with a single Grey knight terms unit in it Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/168247-deamonwitch-hunters-allied-with/#findComment-1984183 Share on other sites
Melissia
If a unit can take the valkyrie as a transport, then it can be taken in an allied force. number6
I hate to put the kibosh on this topic, but since we're talking about allied Inquisition to an army that is not supported by the B&C, I must. This has come up repeatedly in the past month here in the OI. I am confused as to why. It may be a fine point, but nevertheless it is clearly understandable. YOU MAY NOT DISCUSS IMPERIAL GUARD ARMIES. AT ALL. PERIOD!!! The only allowable discussion of the Imperial Guard is in the context of units inducted into parent Inquisition army lists. You may also discuss how Inquistion armies may combat Imperial Guard. (Just as you may discuss how Inquisition armies may defeat any 40K army.) And that's it. No exceptions, no excuses.
