Gotta get around to doing my own one of these days. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/168278-telion-commision/ Share on other sites
The_Chaplain
this "telion" looks really good. mind giving a quick tutorial on how you did the lens colors? they look fabulous! (i am referring to the orange lens by the way) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/168278-telion-commision/#findComment-1984652 Share on other sites
Sandolphon
I can do a walk through the next time I paint up something. Pretty much you start with black on the whole thing, and just shade up from a really dark red up to a bright orange, hit it with a thinned down red wash to add a little depth, and add a little white lens flare at the top corner. Hailfyre
what did you use to get all the ultra symbols off? and with how much ease? (would love to get this model but would hate to ruin it trying to get all the stuff off...) Basilius
Nice work. Its a sexy model, despite the UM symbology. I was planning on kitbashing my own "counts as" if I ever went vanilla, but depending on your answer to Hailfyre I might not have to... (would love to get this model but would hate to ruin it trying to get all the stuff off...) Patients and a super-sharp exacto knife, followed up by tiny files. If you take it slow and a little at a time, it's not too bad, the bolter's the hardest bit to sterilize.... er, clean up, just because of how close the rivets are.
