Hey bud, nice to see your return. Another Morty, nice! I still have to get a hold of you for a commission, blame Forge World for consistently putting out things I want / need!

excellent work so far!

some comments i have however...first on sculpting

you need to work on sharpness of shapes, the trim on the armour for example isnt hard enough, and the edges are too soft, it really steals from the work elsewhere..i really suggest using a harder epoxy that you can cut/carve/sand

smoothness of shapes and crispness is key

next one, composition and design... when designing the sculpts you should try to keep in mind size and proportion, not just human anatomy, but details on the piece, his belt buckle for instance has a skull on it larger than the actual head of the model...the head and upper area of the figure is almost lost in the piece because everything else overpowers with its size and mass

i think those two things are really the biggest things you have to worry about...the work is good, those two adjustments would up them to great :)

I love this guy, not only because he has the same name as me, but because he's got input like this. If only every member that posted on forums took some time to leave some insight like this, we'd all be on the money. Agreed on everything, he says, but Nipps, you know all the :P I say...

Agreed Starks, and MFV. When I work with apoxie sculpt I wait to the model is complete and sand the armor down to give it that rigid crsip feel. So it shall be so muwhahaah

and as for the skull i'll defnitley tweak it out.

The Primarchs are stil in progress, I am workin on Corax still and a Horus model. I got dumped on with alot of work latley and my 40k life has suffered

hes tall but not to tall, ill try and get some scale pics hes a little taller then a dreadnought but put on the base hes even taller.

Thanks everyone for all the input thus far I hope to have more work to post tonight.
