Void Stalkers
I know that demon hunter units can be taken as allies for any imperial force, and that in a demon huter army you can take units from other imperial armies. but is there any rules on say an imperial guard army being aided by a couple space marine squads? or a space marine force gets help from some eldar to fight a common enemy? im just wondering is there any rules that define using allies....... thanks Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/168521-allies/ Share on other sites
Seahawk
Zero rules, no go. The only thing you can do is play games of 2500 pts and up, where you can have multiple detachments, each consisting of different armies. Grey Mage
Yeah I did a quick double check of the inquisition books.... nothing there. It states very bluntly you can have one OR the other, not both. *spreads hands* Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/168521-allies/#findComment-1988098 Share on other sites
Praeger
Either play Apoc where you can do whatever you would like, house rule it, or play with multiple detachments (not too sure where 2500pts comes into any of this). A fun thing to try (only doable with friends) Pick a game, pick points, allow the army list to be chosen in their corect fashion, HOWEVER, any codexs can be used :P This fun game means you can have a Marine HQ, a DE archon, some Ork Noobs with Termie backup etc etc - makes for some REALLY fun games - but they do have to be legal choices, so you cant have a troop squad of Noobs unless you have a warboss, or a demon popping into existance through a Tau's head etc etc. Give it a try and have some fun ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/168521-allies/#findComment-1990035 Share on other sites

chapter master 454
ether apoc or have it arranged with friends. other than that no go unfortunately. (even then when I played one we had to have 1 HQ and 1 troops from each army type.)
