Whos on the cover of of "Tales of Heresey"

Angron - not sure whether this is a depiction of the WE during the battle at the palace? I always assumed the change of armour colour to occur post-heresy but perhaps this is not the case. Or is it just more 'artistic licence' on the part of the HH series artists?
Yeah but if you look carefully at the image he does not have the "eye" symbol that Horus has on his armour and most of the armour is actually a dark red, with a bit of gold. also you can see a red armoured marine in the bottom right corner which is probably the new colour for the World Eaters, and by looking at the back cover you will see a marine to the far right with the old world eaters symbol on his helmet. SO i think its safe to assume that this is Angron and his world eaters

Supposedly Angron, tho he looks like his favourite football team just won. 'Woo! Go Gladiators! Woo!' The reason he's so red faced is cos he's drunk.

He has red skin and has golden armour. Don't get him confused with Sanguinius, who has a nickname that has something to do with Angel, but Angron was the Red Angel because of his skin colour. Nearly every Primarch had a nickname, Night Haunter, The Lion, The Wolf, Warmaster...

If it's Angron that cover is a whole heap of nonsense.

The marines with him are red. They didn't repaint their armour until the siege of Terra. And on Terra, Angron was a giant winged Daemon. Admittedly there is like one marine with a stylised World Eaters helmet in the throng depicted on that cover.

Poor editorial control once more.
