Nilsson
Wolf Lord = 190pts Pair of Master Crafted Lighting Claws, Wolf Pelt, Wolf Tail Talisman, Wolf Tooth Neckless, Wolf Belt of Russ, Frag Grenades, Runic Charm, Runic Armour Wolf Guard Bodyguard = 630pts 9x Wolf Guard 6x Master-Crafted Power Weapn, 3x Master Crafted Power Fist, 9x Master Crafted Combi-Melta, 9x Wolf Tail Talisman, 9x Frag Grenades, 9x Wolf Pelt, 9x Runic Charm Guess it is a tad expensive, but what the heck. My Wolf Lord deserves the best, though to drop points I could drop the Master crafted stuff on the WGB and lower the cost 180pts... Comments? Hehe.. ;) -Nilsson Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/168598-honour-guard-space-wolf-style/ Share on other sites
whitewolfmxc
Add in chapter banner , and wolf lord = Ragnar blackmane , then add a rune priest + wolf priest with 4 wolves , then chuck all of them including the above wolf guard into a land raider crusader , then cast storm caller every turn for the crusader till its close enough.....disembark....storm caller on the unit......all hell breaks lose... the first one to correctly calculate the number of attacks for charging with that unit / and being charged , gets my respect ! Nilsson
No honestly, I am thinking of using that squad, would it be viable? Or is there anything you should add / Remove? Perhaps the Master Crafted stuff? -Edit// Might add that I am playing a 1750 droppod list. LPetersson
That would hurt really badly to be hit by them, but the downside is that they won't last long... If you were to take the time and model them with plenty of bling, I'm sure they would look awesome... Who ever you play against will either avoid them once they're out of the Land Raider or shoot them to pieces the turn after they're out... Then again, they might survive, in which case they would totally bring the pain... Yeah, some points are correct, though as I drop pod them (as I stated btw) then they acually might just be an huge sacrifical squad, though if they make it then by Russ, the enemies shall tremble at the roaring sounds of my most holy bolters! If you DP them in, then they'll die on that turn... And any player who doesn't focus fire on them deserves to feel the pain... If you're not giving them TDA, at least give them bikes :-) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/168598-honour-guard-space-wolf-style/#findComment-1989253 Share on other sites

XD that is kinda impossible to say cause we dont know what they are armed with...power fist, lightning claws, yadda yadda yadda. but it would be like 2 (base)+ 2 (charge with rags)+ 1 (chapter banner) so a total of 5 with power fists, or 6 with 2 hand weapons on the charge. on the countedr charge that makes 6 with power fists, 7 with 2 hand weapons. that is alos without wolf pelts, which are so awesome i make room for nowadays.
