Also I have no plans whatsoever to game with it, so it doesn´t have to apply to any rules whatsoever - thats why it has a big mean gun in it´s mouth even though it´s a "lowly" transporter in the game.

Looks like a Soul Grinder to me. :)

This is an awesome conversion and your gs(!) skills are great. What is the medium that you are using and do you have any tips on working with it?? I would like to try something like this just for the hell of doing something different

Looking forward to the finished project

  :jaw: :tu: Wow, I salute you! Great great stuff! You've got some skills! Too bad you're not gonna play games with it. An army made by someone with your skills is awesome to behold. I bet your painting skills match your modelling ones. Looking forward to see it finished. Excellent work.

Due to real-life issues the creative juices have been flowing very low lately, but I have managed to finish the first guardsman, and thought it was a chance to post something :D

Advice, opinions and commentaries are appreciated as always! - Again I´m hoping that because the guardsmen are just "scenery" to the rhino that the picture will pass muster!?

Thanks :) I´m just using simple old plain GS, for the skin, and mixtures of GS and (yellow/grey)Milliput and GS and (white)Milliput for the leg. Milliput is good when you wnat to make something inorganic because it´s extremely easy to sand and get real sharp edges.

If you´re wondering about the "skin" I have made a very short tut (in danish unfortunately) where you should be able to the principles of what I´ve done with the GS from the pictures alone:

That is just awesome! I love the mutated bits the way you have shown the corruption of the warp bleeding through to our plane of existence is perfect (or at least how I imagine it). I think you need to do Its own data sheet this is something unique.

Update:

I´ve made a bit of progress on some of the parts of the legs:

http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii284/slah_photos/Games%20Workshop/40K/Chaos/possessed%20rhino/IMG_1814.jpg

The legspike still needs a lot of detailing and trimming, but it´s coming along - the other parts are done (for now at least :D). These parts I´ll try and cast once I get my hands on some supplies.

The next picture shows a quick sketch of how I´m planning to put it together:

http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii284/slah_photos/Games%20Workshop/40K/Chaos/possessed%20rhino/IMG_1815.jpg

The part from the legspike to the joint will be made from plastirods, and is supposed to look like a hydraulic system, so it can slide in and out so that particular part of the leg can be different lengths (should help with the pose when putting the rhino together).

The rest of the leg is gonna be "pure" mutation with spikes webbing, rods and cables thrown in at random to make it really chaotic.

Lastly I´ve made a quick - and very crude - mockup of the leg. Just for scale purposes

It´s gonna end up being slightly bigger than i orginally envisioned B)

As always any comments, ideas and advice is strongly encouraged and appreciated!
