Introduction: Vigour

Recommended Posts

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I am just starting up my space wolves army. I don't have the codex yes but I am working on modeling some long fangs from regular marines. I am planning on only running one unit of 5 in any game but I want to option to go with 4 ML or 4 PC or up to 2 HB or LC. I've seen the damage the PC can wreck and I would really like to employ them in my army.

I don't have the PC, HB, or LC right now. My first conversion will be of a regular ML Long fang and I hope to have some pictures up him up by tomorrow night.

Welcome to the Fang young'un! Wow, I must say that I'm impressed by your choice to go with Long Fangs right from the start! ;)

Reminds me of...ME. I started with the codex and a box of Long Fangs. Ofcourse I thought at the time that all marines had guns that big (like GI Joe :P). But I soon learned the ways of the fang and so will you I trust.

Have an ale and make yourself ready for the crucible of war!!!

Also reminds me of me. The biggest game winner for me early in my early days of playing was a 4xPC longfang pack, back when you either hit or didnt, and that was your template multiplier. SO funny to see someone's face when it went from "oh, that only hits 4 models in my 10 man squad." Ok, that's 16 hits, wounding on anything but a 1 and they die....

I should field that unit again and see how it does w/ 5th ed.....
