RichVStone
I need clarification if you guys can ... on poisoned weapons. It says they wound on a 2+ but they're also listed in the Power weapon type section so does that mean they do not confer saves if wounded? Or do the target units get a regular save? Kurasuke
Do people not know of the Official Rules board? re-read the book, they are not listed in the power weapons section but are listed in the special close combat weapons section along with power weapons. nighthawks
Please behave brothers - no need for the exasperated comments. RVS - poisoned weapons are explained on BRB P42, unfortunately there is no clarification for shooting weapons but that is OK, the rules are pretty clear. there is no negating of armor, cover, or inv. saves from poisoned weapons (other than standard shooting weapon AP value comparisons, which are still used). gil - SG may use hellfire rounds, which are poisoned 2+ as described on P100 of C:SM. O indeed i was being stupid, remembered them as being worded "always wound on 2+" rather than poisoned :tu: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/168802-sternguard-veteran/#findComment-1993520 Share on other sites
